We ensure that service providers and business partners who process personal information acknowledge confidentiality obligations and are committed to complying with all applicable privacy laws.

If a user on Artesia’s website navigates to another website via an embedded link or through site integration, the privacy policy of the third-party website will apply. Users are advised to review the respective privacy policies of such third-party websites, as Artesia will not be liable for any personal data breaches that may occur on those platforms.

Protection and Storage of Personal Data

Artesia implements physical, technical, administrative, and procedural safeguards to protect users’ personal data. We use firewall barriers, encryption techniques, and authentication procedures to maintain the security of users’ online sessions.

Please note that we do not guarantee the security of data transmitted via email, phone, or SMS until such data reaches our network domain.

Data Retention

Data collected from the recruitment process will only be retained for six (6) months, as per Bulgarian law, unless the user, at our request, consents to the retention of their data for longer periods.

The User hereby acknowledges and agrees that any personal data collected pursuant to Clause 3 shall be retained for a period of five (5) years following the termination of the User’s relationship with our services, unless a valid request for deletion is received and processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

In cases where we may need to meet legal obligations or regulatory reporting requirements (as detailed in clause 5.2), Artesia may retain records beyond the prescribed retention period to comply with them.

Data Subject Rights of the User

You have the right to:

  • Request Access: Receive copies of your personal data.
  • Request Erasure: Request deletion of personal data unless we are legally required to retain it.
  • Request Restriction of Processing: Object to the processing of personal data. (For example, to avoid direct marketing or automated profiling)
  • Request Data Portability: Transfer personal data in a machine-readable format from Artesia to another controller or be sent to the data subject/user free of cost.
  • Request Withdrawal of Consent: remove consent for the collection and processing of personal data without affecting the lawfulness of the data collected before the consent is withdrawn.

All rights are subject to the limitations set forth in the Bulgarian Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). Users may request correction of collected personal data, details about their rights, or exercise them by contacting us.

Under the PDPA, rights can only be exercised through a written request. The request must identify the user, describe what is being asked, and include contact details and a preferred communication method. It must be dated and signed by the user. If someone is acting on behalf of the user, a power of attorney or authorization document must be attached.
